Howard Ford

Executive Chairman

Howard has worked for a wide variety of high-profile technology companies in his career. Significant roles include Chief Executive of BT Cellnet and General Manager of IBM’s European PC business; Howard was also Managing Director of Equant Network Services before it was acquired by France Telecom in 2005. In addition to Cambridge Nanotherm, Howard currently holds the position of Chairman with Display Data, Pyreos, Light Blue Optics and Filtronic plc.

Andy Matthews


Andy has 30 years’ product development experience and is responsible for new product introduction, production and supply chain. Previous roles include COO at Amantys and Enecsys and positions at Bookham Plc and Nortel Networks.

Pavel Shashkov


The joint inventor of the nanoceramic process, Pavel is an experienced CTO, a prize-winning scientist and accomplished entrepreneur, with vast experience in nano-materials, thermal management and IP.

Mike Edwards

Sales Director

Mike has more than 30 years semiconductor and electronics industry experience holding senior executive positions at Toshiba Europe and a number of start-up companies.

Nikolay Danilov


Nikolay leads the ENSO Ventures team from the London office. He studied at Cass Business School (Banking and International Finance) City University London and at St Petersburg State University of Economics & Finance in Russia.

Oleg Mukhanov

Business Development

Oleg serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Enso Ventures. Previously worked at UBS Investment Bank initially focused on private equity, and later covering industrial and oil & gas sectors. He is holds Masters in Management from Warwick Business School and a Law degree from Southern Federal University in Russia

Jed Dorsheimer


Jed’s role as Managing Director of Equity Research, Display and Lighting, at US-based investment banking and institutional research firm Canaccord Genuity makes him the ideal candidate to help develop the company’s strategic direction. A respected expert on solid-state lighting, Dorsheimer was ranked as the fifth most influential person in the lighting industry by Lux Magazine. He brings a unique perspective of both the current state, and the future direction, of the solid-state lighting industry.
